Karin Cantrell, Vice President

As a Vice President at KRC Research, Karin brings a decade of experience in the field of quantitative and qualitative research and excels in helping clients best leverage research to achieve their business objectives. Prior to joining KRC, she spent nearly 8 years at Edge Research, and 2 years with the Marist Institute for Public Opinion. Karin’s primary areas of focus are healthcare, youth advocacy, international, and nonprofit work. She is well-versed in the mechanics of a wide range of research methodologies and is a skilled RIVA-trained moderator who has conducted hundreds of in-depth interviews and focus groups for a variety of issue areas and industries. Her strengths include researching elite, sensitive, and hard-to-reach audiences such as executives, elected officials, industry leaders, medical professionals, donors, and persons with illnesses. She is a recent recipient of a Young Professionals Grant from the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). Grants were awarded to young professionals who have demonstrated a personal passion and commitment to advancing the field of qualitative research. Karin has a Master’s degree from American University in International Politics and Human Rights and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/International Studies from Marist College.
